ModaFlow™ enables rapid and automated microbiology screening by combining droplet microfluidics with high-throughput fluorescence analysis. Individual microorganisms are encapsulated in nano-droplets, cultured under controlled conditions and screened based on functional readouts such as growth or enzymatic activity. Positive droplets are rapidly sorted, enabling recovery of the most promising microbial clones for downstream characterization, sequencing or strain development.
